For dive packages, Komodo Escape also caters to excursion on requests to villages on the islands around Labuan Bajo and KNP.
Ita Evalin, the Operation Manager said her guests are 70% foreigners and 30% domestic people. Foreign guests take more diving packages because Komodo is one of the best diving destinations in the world. While domestic guests prefer a day tour package and leisure packages. Domestic tourists become interested in sailing with LOB since 2 or 3 years ago.
Projected up to three years into the future, according to Ita, LOB business prospects in Labuan Bajo remain promising. It is because there are still many tourists from domestic and outside the country queuing to see the dragons and to dive the beauty of the marine park. LOB has been growing as one means of transportation as well as accommodation facilities to do marine tourism in Labuan Bajo and the KNP. *** (Yun Damayanti)
